Delete your account

Request permanent removal of your YB Zone data. You can start from the app (Settings → Account & security → Delete account) or submit the form below to info@rant.zone.

Deletion is irreversible. Choose the right scope below. After we process a full account deletion, you will need a new signup to use YB Zone again.

What can be deleted

Pick the option that matches what you want removed. We follow your privacy rights while keeping limited records where law or safety requires it (for example short-lived backups or abuse logs).

Scope	What is removed	What may remain
Full account & traces	Profile, handle, posts (vibes / rants), comments, reactions, follows, DMs metadata we store, squad memberships, devices / FCM tokens, AR content you created, linked contact data, and server-side traces tied to your user id.	Short backup retention, anonymized analytics aggregates, content still held by other users’ devices (e.g. already-downloaded messages), legal hold if required.
Posts only	Your map vibes, rant posts, comments you wrote, and reactions you placed — profile login stays.	Account, DMs, squads, followers, profile fields.
Chats only	Your 1:1 DM threads (ciphertext we host + delivery metadata) and your visibility in those threads; leave squad rooms where possible.	Public posts, profile, follows. Counterparts may keep local copies. End-to-end ciphertext cannot be read by us; we delete what we store.
Media / AR only	Photos, videos, and AR time-capsules / traces you uploaded.	Text posts and account remain.
Other / custom	Describe exactly what to erase (e.g. one handle, one vibe id, business claim).	As not requested.

Deletion request

Full account and all traces Recommended for Play Store / GDPR-style full erase: profile, posts, chats we host, devices, and related server data. Posts only Delete vibes, rant posts, and comments — keep login and chats. Chats only Delete DM history we store and leave / remove squad memberships where feasible. Media & AR only Uploaded images, video, AR capsules / traces — keep text account. Custom Tell us exactly what to remove in the notes field. Account email @handle Phone on account (if any) Notes / custom instructions I understand this request may be permanent I confirm I own this account and want the selected data deleted under the YB Zone privacy policy.

We verify ownership (email / phone / in-app login). Typical processing: within 30 days; full deletes may take longer if backups must expire.
